Some fans are ready to call time on Philippe Montanier’s spell as Nottingham Forest boss.

Nottingham Forest fans are divided over the future of manager Philippe Montanier.
The Frenchman, formerly of Real Sociedad and Rennes, was only appointed by Forest in July, but is under increasing pressure after his side lost for the fifth time in seven outings against lowly Blackburn on Tuesday night.

Forest’s bright start suggested a promotion challenge could be on the cards this season, however the Reds have won just one of their last nine fixtures without Oliver Burke – sold to Red Bull Leipzig in August.
That win – which arrived in convincing style against fifth-place Birmingham City on Friday – offered brief hope of a turnaround, although many fans appear to have reached the end of their tether after last night.

With a £50 million takeover thought to be close, Montanier’s future at the City Ground looks especially bleak and few, it seems, would be surprised to see him depart in the coming weeks.
Here’s what the fans are saying on Twitter.
Some, however, aren’t quite there…
Nottingham Forest’s next appointment will be their seventh since owner Fawaz Al-Hasawi assumed control of the club in July 2012.
