A number of Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the EFL’s latest Team of the Week not featuring any Reds players despite the City Ground side’s impressive 1-0 win away at Championship high-flyers Swansea City.

Sabri Lamouchi’s charges kept the Swans at bay for the entirety of the game and, five minutes from time, Alfa Semedo struck his first Forest goal five to extend his side’s unbeaten run to eight games and end the opposition’s own unbeaten record.

A great display it was against what was then the first-placed side in the division, now knocked off the summit by Leeds United, but despite this, none of their charges made the EFL’s XI, composed of players from all three divisions.

Forest currently sit 10th in the Championship table on 12 points from seven league fixtures, having won three, drawn three and lost just one, and up next for the Reds is Saturday’s clash with Barnsley at the City Ground.
