Nottingham Forest supporters have been discussing a potential move for Wolves stopper.

Nottingham Forest are hoping to be the Wolves of the Championship in 2018/19 and have made their moves early in the transfer market.
They are following Wolves’ model of signing promising Portuguese players represented by Jorge Mendes, pulling off a double deal for Benfica duo Joao Carvalho and Diogo Goncalves.
Another way to emulate Wolves is to sign their promotion winning goalkeeper, John Ruddy.

Previously unlikely, this has become a possibility after Wolves upgraded by signing Portugal number one Rui Patricio this week.
Forest had Costel Pantilimon on loan last season and The Daily Mail’s live transfer blog (19/06; 11:59) claimed the club have opened talks with Watford over a permanent move.
If plan A does not work out, then making Ruddy a plan B would be a clever idea.

A proven promotion winner three times, twice with Norwich and once with Wolves, he would be an important coup for Forest in the dressing room as well as on the pitch.
He faces a season on the bench at Wolves and a switch back to a promotion chasing Championship team may be his best option.
Forest fans have already been discussing the possibility of signing Ruddy…
