Nottingham Forest are said to be keen on Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson.

Nottingham Forest fans are very keen on the idea of signing Carl Jekinson from Arsenal.

The Nottingham Post have reported how Forest are closing in on a deal for the Arsenal right-back, who looks set to leave the Emirates.

And Reds supporters are eager to see Jenkinson brought to the City Ground.

Forest have been on the look out for a new right-back for much of the summer.

It was thought that Sam Byram was a target when Martin O’Neill was in charge, but he ended up signing for Norwich City.

Jenkinson looks likely to slot into Forest’s starting line-up fairly quickly, if he does make a move.

The Reds lost their opening game in the Championship, and will be keen to get their first win of the season sooner rather than later.
