Nottingham Forest drew 1-1 during a friendly on Sunday afternoon, with Chris Burke netting for Dougie Freedman’s side.
But neither the result nor the performance seemed to concern Forest fans as much as Michail Antonio’s future did both during and after the game on Twitter.
Indeed, Nottingham Forest’s star winger has been linked with a City Ground exit this summer, recently being identified as a target for Leeds United (according to the Yorkshire Evening Post) and a whole host of Premier League clubs.
According to the Daily Star, Bournemouth lead the chase for Antonio – but West Brom, Aston Villa and more are also interested.
Whether it is Leeds, West Brom, Villa or Bournemouth, though, it’s first and foremost about Antonio and Forest for the fans. Many can see the sense in selling if the 25-year-old wants to leave the City Ground. Others, however, feel he is indispensable.
