Sabri Lamouchi’s Reds hammered Derby at the City Ground last night to earn a spot in round three.
A number of Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Twitter to respond to the club’s post asking them who they would like in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
The Reds wiped the floor with bitter rivals Derby County at the City Ground on Tuesday night as goals from Albert Adomah, Joe Lolley and the returning Joao Carvalho ensured a straightforward victory for Sabri Lamouchi’s charges.
Forest will find out who they face in the next round tonight, with the third-round draw taking place at Sincil Bank following the conclusion of the televised fixture between Lincoln City and Everton.
Quite a few Trickies fans hoped to get Premier League giants and Champions League holders Liverpool in round three:
Tottenham Hotspur also featured amongst the clubs that plenty of Forest fans wanted to draw, with their new stadium a particular point of appeal:
A couple wanted the chance to exact revenge against Burton Albion, who beat them in the competition last year:
And some couldn’t resist sticking the boot into their old rivals one more time for good measure:
