Forest suffered a disappointing 1-0 loss to Brentford at home on Tuesday night.

Nottingham Forest fans have rinsed Apostolos Vellios on Twitter after Aitor Karanka’s side suffered a disappointing 1-0 loss to Brentford at the City Ground on Tuesday night.
Henrik Dalsgaard scored the only goal of the night as Forest were made to pay for their ruefulness in front of goal but the Danish defender, who headed home a corner in the 82nd minute to snatch all three points.
Lee Tomlin missed a number of good opportunities, while Adlene Guedioura arguably came closest to scoring for Forest as his effort trickled past the post in the first half.

Greek striker Vellios only entered the fray immediately after Dalsgaard’s strike, but that was long enough for Forest fans as they saw their side slump to another defeat that leaves them just nine points above the drop zone.
Target man Vellios has struggled to have an impact this season – scoring just one goal in 10 games – and Forest fans are keen to see the back of the former Everton striker ahead of the summer transfer window.
