The full-back has not played a competitive game for the USA since 2011.

Nottingham Forest defender Eric Lichaj has been commenting on his chances of returning to the US men’s national team fold this week.
The full-back has been one of Forest’s more consistent performers for a number of years and has been one of their better players this season.
The USMNT have recently changed coach and Lichaj is clearly hopeful he can find his way back into the fold.
He told FourFourTwo that he had been in touch with the coaching team of new manager Bruce Arena and had this to say on a potential return to international action:
“It excited me, and it gave me more motivation. Because that’s definitely something I want, to get back in the team.
“I feel like I can provide something, whether it’s starting in the squad or on the bench. I think I can provide something to the U.S. team for the qualifiers and for the upcoming World Cup.”
“I’ve got my fingers crossed.”
The 28-year-old, who has been at Nottingham Forest since 2013, has already been capped by the US.

He made his debut for his national team in 2010 whilst still a youngster at Aston Villa. His most recent appearance for the USA came in May, when he played in a 3-1 friendly win against Puerto Rico, but he has not played a competitive game for the USA since a 4-2 loss to Mexico at the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
USA’s next fixtures are against Honduras and Panama as they look to save their World Cup qualification campaign.
The Nottingham Forest man will be hoping he is involved.
