Nottingham Forest are confident of signing Dean Henderson from Manchester United this week, according to Fabrizio Romano on Twitter.

The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported this morning that Nottingham Forest are confident that they will secure the services of Manchester United goalkeeper Henderson on a loan deal this month.

Forest, who will play in the Premier League next season after winning promotion from the Championship, have reportedly agreed personal terms with the £120,000-a-week (SalarySport) goalkeeper.

In our view, Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson would be a good signing for Nottingham Forest in the summer transfer window.

The 25-year-old has experience of playing in the Premier League and would make Forest better and stronger between the posts.

David de Gea is the number one goalkeeper at United at the moment, and that is not going to change anytime soon.

Henderson is still only 25, and the England international goalkeeper needs to play regularly now.

Forest are a big club who will play in the Premier League next season, and Henderson would flourish at the City Ground.
