HITC understands that Nottingham Forest have made a move for Belgian international Matz Sels, as they look to bring in a new goalkeeper on deadline day.
Forest have lodged a bid worth £5million and talks are continuing between the two clubs, but a deal is progressing according to sources with knowledge of the situation.

The former Newcastle United goalkeeper is at Strasbourg, where he has played over 150 games since joining in 2018.

Forest have been looking for much of January to bring in a new keeper and had looked at former loan star Keylor Navas.
They had also held talks with Crystal Palace over England international Sam Johnstone.
Summer signing Dean Henderson has now become number one and now Johnstone is concerned about his international future.
“It’s not easy to have two goalkeepers of that quality,” said Palace boss Roy Hodgson told The Evening Standard after their midweek win over Sheffield United. “It will be a situation the club will have to look closely at. Whether they will be able to persuade both that, ‘We need you both’.
Johnstone could stay
“Or whether they will be forced to accept it’s probably a bit ambitious to have two England goalkeepers where one is not going to play each week, I’m prepared just to let the time go.
“When that time comes, the club will make a decision. It’s much more [sporting director] Dougie Freedman and [chairman] Steve Parish who will be confronted with that.”
