Nottingham Forest boss Philippe Montanier has been singing the praises of his talented midfielder Ben Osborn during his press conference this afternoon – as relayed by the club’s official Twitter account.
Forest are currently looking like having yet another mid-table season, but the form of the talented 22-year-old could prove crucial if they are to push on for something a little more ambitious.
Nottingham Forest manager Philippe Montanier
He has had a good campaign so far and on his day he can be one of the most masterful players in the Championship.
Forest’s French manager has proven himself a big fan of the Derby-born lad and England youth international.
Speaking about his talent today Montanier had this to say about the Forest star:
Osborn has been playing in a more central role at times recently, after having to dot around the pitch when younger.
He is now clearly settling into his favoured role in the middle of the park and will be hoping to secure himself a place as a regular in that role for Forest going forward.
Forest will hope he can produce some magic when the club take on Bristol City this weekend.
