Ben Brereton has not started in any of Nottingham Forest’s last three matches.
New Nottingham Forest boss Mark Warburton has already been impressed by Ben Brereton.
Warburton has been taking training at Forest for the first time this week, and the youngster has not taken long to catch his eye.
The former Glasgow Rangers and Brentford boss now needs to stay with Forest and fulfil his potential.
Warburton’s initial impression of Brereton throws up questions over whether the 17-year-old will be given a starting berth against Derby County this weekend.
Brereton was used sparingly by Gary Brazil, towards the end of his time in the dug out.
The striker has not started in any of Forest’s last three matches, but could be in consideration tomorrow.
Brereton has already hit three goals and claimed two assists in just nine Championship appearances to date.
If Forest can beat Derby tomorrow, they could move up to 18th place in the Championship table.
