The 30-year-old defender picked up a red card in the Reds’ 1-0 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

There were very few positives for Nottingham Forest following their 1-0 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers, however one of them was that defender Danny Fox picked up a red card, meaning he’s suspended for the Reds’ next fixture.
Thankfully for Forest, who hover just two points above the drop zone, all their other main relegation rivals on the night in Blackburn Rovers, Bristol City, Birmingham City and Wigan Athletic were all defeated, meaning no ground was gained or lost, and there’s now one less game to play.
But the biggest positive of all was that one of the worst signings of the Fawaz Al Hasawi era in Fox has picked up a one match suspension, ruling him out of the home fixture with Huddersfield Town at the weekend.
Since Fox joined from Southampton in January 2014, he has been nothing but a walking disaster on the pitch for the Reds, and while his form has improved since going from left back to centre half, it’s improved in the same way a school student goes from getting an F grade to an E – slightly better, but still awful.

Forest fans will be hoping that either Joe Worrall comes back into the team, has a blinder and keeps Fox out, or Eric Lichaj is restored to right back and Michael Mancienne and Matt Mills show their experience and also keep Fox out.
Irrespective of what league the club is in, the summer could see new manager Mark Warburton instigate a mass clear-out of dead wood at The City Ground – the majority of Forest fans will be hoping Fox is on that list.
