West Bromwich Albion, Celtic and Rangers are all being linked with one of Steven Gerrard’s former teammates, Tom Ince.
West Brom are considering a move for Ince, while Celtic and Rangers have expressed an interest in the Stoke City winger, according to Teamtalk.
Ince is reported to have cost Stoke £10 million two years ago and has scored or assisted 20 goals in 81 games for the English Championship side.
But the 28-year-old – who like his father, Paul, played alongside the Rangers manager, Gerrard, at Liverpool – has yet to play a single minute of senior football this season.
And some Potters fans would welcome a switch to West Brom, Celtic, Rangers – or anyone, it seems – for Ince.
This is what they are saying about the rumour on Twitter…
Since leaving Liverpool, Ince has appeared for Blackpool, Crystal Palace, Hull City, Nottingham Forest, Derby County and Huddersfield Town, as well as Stoke – and featured for three of those in the Premier League.
Whilst at Palace, the former England Under-21 international named Gerrard, who has spent the past two-and-a-half years at Rangers, as the player he would most like to play alongside, in an interview with FourFourTwo.
