Don Hutchison has claimed that ‘nothing really has changed’ with Leeds United under Jesse Marsch compared to their time under Marcelo Bielsa, as he told Premier League Productions (22/03/22 at 2:05 pm).
The former midfielder added that Leeds are ‘still mad’ and ‘chaotic’ under their new American coach.
If the relegation-threatened side are going to produce more of what they have showcased under Bielsa’s replacement, then the fans are going to be in for a rollercoaster last few months of the season.
From getting hammered by Aston Villa to coming from 2-0 down to record a quite epic 3-2 win against ten-man Wolves last Friday.
Bielsa may well be out of the door, but his DNA is still on this Leeds side, which has been evident from Marsch’s first few matches, as Hutchison shared his thoughts.
“Not yet (safe), but back-to-back wins has given them an unbelievable chance,” said Hutchison. “They still have a little bit of work to do.
“Nothing really has changed because this was still a Bielsa team that was chaotic. Still mad and brilliant.
“Jesse Marsch has just sort of carried that trait on, so Leeds fans must be buzzing.”

One thing that can’t be denied is that the Premier League needs Leeds because, without them, they are worse off.
Regardless of the injury status in the Leeds squad, their mood, form or match situation, they will always go on the front foot.
And that’s what makes them the best entertainers in England’s top-flight.
Perhaps, from the perspective of the Yorkshire faithful, it does result in them losing more games than usual, but when things go well, as it did at Wolves, then they are experiences fans will never forget.
