Speaking on the UMM YouTube channel, Rhys Williams has praised James Milner and Andy Robertson for their incredible effort in training.
The young centre-back was being interviewed, and he was asked which players in training are the hardest workers, and he didn’t hesitate to name Milner and Robertson as two absolute workhorses.
“James Milner or Robbo I’d say. With them two, nothing less than 100 per cent is good enough. So they don’t care what day it is, if there’s a game tomorrow they’re giving it. All of the time,” Williams said.
It’s not all that surprising to hear that these two work incredibly hard.

Milner has been playing top level football for the best part of two decades, and you don’t do that unless you’re an absolute machine in training, while Robertson seems to be one of the best-conditioned players in the Premier League these days.
The Scot runs that left channel for Liverpool in every single game, and there are few players in the division who cover as much ground as the former Hull City man.
Every top side needs these types of players, and under Jurgen Klopp training hard is an absolute must if you want to be a success, and after Premier League and Champions League triumphs in recent years, you have to say that both Milner and Robertson have been successful.
