Anwar El Ghazi says he has ‘nothing but love’ for Aston Villa after they shared an old clip of him scoring a last-minute winner against Wolves in 2020 on Instagram.
The 27-year-old left Villa in the summer after falling out of favour with the now-sacked Steven Gerrard and joined Dutch side, PSV.
He has made a pretty impressive start under the legendary striker Ruud van Nistelrooy by scoring three goals in eight Eredivisie games, including two assists and a goal in the Europa League.

Away from Villa Park, as those in B6 saw during their days in the Championship, El Ghazi is starting to cook again.
And when Villa’s official IG account was reliving one of his better moments – during a Premier League encounter against Wolves – El Ghazi posted in the comments section of the post ‘nothing but love’, added with heart emojis.
EL GHAZI DESERVED A BETTER SEND-OFF
To think that El Ghazi spent the last part of his Villa career sitting on Everton’s bench was a disgrace, to be honest.
Steven Gerrard should have treated the winger a lot better because he did a lot for the club and will go down as a hero to the fans.
He was the one who scored THAT opening goal in the play-off final against Derby County, it’s a goal of such importance given that it helped Villa return back to the big time and it’s a moment fans will never forget.
