Speaking on the Premier League YouTube channel, Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster has been waxing-lyrical about Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsdale.
The Hornets ace was asked to name a young goalkeeper who he thinks will be a star in the future, and he was in no doubt about Ramsdale’s potential.
Foster was full of praise for the former Sheffield United man, crediting him for having a fantastic mindset.
What’s been said?
Foster had nothing but good things to say about Ramsdale.
“I’ve played against this guy, Aaron Ramsdale, a good few times. The guy seriously impresses me every time he plays. He’s got a little bit of that mentality where he doesn’t care. Nothing fazes him and nothing bothers him, and he’s going to go on to be a serious monster in goal,” Foster said.

Could justify his fee
Eyebrows were raised this summer when Arsenal decided to spend a fee that could end up being £30m on Ramsdale this summer, but if Foster’s prediction rings true, he could be worth every penny.
Indeed, the goalkeeper may have cost a lot of money, but at the age of 23, he may have the best part of a decade ahead of him at the Emirates.
The goalkeeper has potential, and Foster believes he can be a future star, and if he goes on to become one of the Premier League’s top stoppers, £30m could end up looking like an absolute bargain.
Let’s hope that Foster is right about Ramsdale and the Gunners have a future star on their hands.
