Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has confirmed at his press conference, which was broadcast on the club’s official Youtube channel, that Fabinho is ‘not too far away’ from making a return.
Fabinho has missed Liverpool’s last two matches with injuries, which has been a blow to Klopp’s side.
Although the Reds have coped well without the Brazilian, Liverpool would still be heavily boosted by his return.
And Klopp has suggested that Liverpool’s 27-year-old is close to coming back from injury now.
He said: “Nat and Hendo looked really good, Fabinho is not too far away and he can play in the position.
“We have now options again and with so many games coming up that was the thing we had to make sure that we had these options.
“Then it’s about the players to work for a chance and use the chance.”
If Fabinho does return for Liverpool he may actually be able to slot back into a midfield role now.

With Ozan Kabak and Ben Davies at the club, and Jordan Henderson excelling at the back, it remains to be seen where Fabinho will play when he makes his comeback.
Liverpool have actually won both games they have played without Fabinho, but Klopp will still be eager to have him back, as the Reds’ fixture schedule is very demanding.
Liverpool face games against Brighton & Hove Albion, Manchester City, Leicester City, RB Leipzig and Everton all in the next three weeks.
