Ralph Hasenhuttl has admitted that he ‘doesn’t have the biggest knowledge’ of Tottenham’s new signings, Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur, as he told his press conference.
The Saints boss claimed that Spurs ‘had enough’ before they signed the duo from Juventus on transfer deadline day.
Both players got a taste of English football at the weekend when they made their debuts during Tottenham’s 3-1 FA Cup win over Brighton.
Now they are set to take to the Premier League stage and it will be interesting to see if Antonio Conte hands either duo a start.
But ahead of that game, Hasenhuttl stated that Spurs have ‘shown’ they are a ‘top team’ following those arrivals.
“I’ve not the biggest knowledge of the new players,” said Hasenhuttl. “For me, they had enough before the signings.
“They are strong enough being a top team in the Premier League. And they have shown this.”

Under Conte, other than Chelsea, it has been pretty positive for those in north London.
From their 2-2 draw against Liverpool, where they probably deserved to win, to their jaw-dropping comeback win at Leicester.
Spurs have showcased signs not normally associated with their club and that just proves that the Conte effect is well and truly kicking in.
Now they will be hoping it will all end in either a trophy, Champions League football, or even both if they dare to dream.
