Tyrone Mings celebrated reaching 150 career appearances on Sunday when Aston Villa recorded a 3-1 win against Fulham.
Many will like to forget the mistake he made prior to Villa’s comeback, but he was congratulated on his efforts on Instagram.
One-time Villa man, Pepe Reina, told his former teammate that there are ‘many more to come’ his way and it’s ‘only the beginning’.
But the Villa star responded to the Spanish shot-stopper by stating that he’s ‘not sure about that’.
Mings did start his career a lot later than others and was signed up by Mick McCarthy’s Ipswich when he was playing non-league football and they were in the Championship.
He didn’t start his career at an academy, so he did rise to the top the hard way.
And when he eventually reached the promised land with Bournemouth, injuries stagnated his career and he had to re-build once again with Aston Villa.
That all started with that promotion campaign, which included a remarkable ten game-winning run, and now Mings is a fully-fledged Premier League player and England international.
