Chelsea fans do not appear to be at all keen on the idea of selling Antonio Rudiger to Tottenham Hotspur.

Sky claim that Tottenham are keen to sign Rudiger from them, with the German seemingly on his way out at Stamford Bridge.

Rudiger was not part of the Chelsea squad who took on Spurs last night in the League Cup, and Frank Lampard has refused to rule out his departure.

But Chelsea fans are not at all keen on the idea of selling Rudiger to Tottenham, even if he has slipped down the pecking order.

Tottenham and Chelsea look set to be in direct competition for a top four place this term, and the two clubs have historically not done much business.

Rudiger may not be a starter for Chelsea right now, but his quality is still obvious, and the Blues would be strengthening Spurs if they were to let him go.

Chelsea will now need to weigh up how badly they need to raise funds, or whether they can resist Spurs’s advances as deadline day nears.

Tottenham actually got one over on Chelsea last night, as they beat them on penalties in the League Cup.
