Jude Bellingham joining Arsenal would obviously delight supporters of the Premier League leaders.
The Borussia Dortmund midfielder has been a revelation for England at the World Cup in Qatar.
And if Gareth Southgate’s side do go all the way, well he’ll have played a major role in that.
After their 3-0 victory over Senegal last Sunday, Arsenal supporters on Twitter asked Gilberto Silva to have a word with Edu – his former teammate in North London – about bringing the 19-year-old to the Emirates Stadium [HITC Sport].
David Seaman was asked about Bellingham joining the Gunners on his podcast in midweek.

And although he would absolutely love the powerful midfielder in England, he suggests that the standard of his World Cup displays makes him a very unrealistic target for Arsenal.
He told Seaman Says on Spotify: “I would love to see him playing in the Premier League. No doubt about it. Would Arsenal be able to afford him? I’m not so sure, not with these performances in the World Cup.”
Unfortunately, Seaman is correct.
Yes, Arsenal are top of the Premier League standings, but can Mikel Arteta and Edu afford to drop around £150 million on luring him to the Emirates?
More to the point, would he go?
Arsenal are certainly becoming a lot more attractive to transfer targets, but there’s a long way to go before it’s a more desireable destination than Manchester City, Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain, all of whom are interested in him.
