Club Brugge cannot rule out the prospect of selling Noa Lang to Leeds United during the summer transfer window, the Jupiler League club’s CEO told Voetbal Belgie.
Given that the former Ajax wildchild has been labelled a player with Zinedine Zidane-levels of potential, it is no surprise that Lang’s Belgian adventure could be coming to an end after just 12 largely brilliant months.
With 17 goals and 11 assists, the Holland U21 international has been a revelation since joining Brugge last year, firing Philippe Clement’s side to domestic glory along the way.
The mesmerising Lang is unlikely to stick around and help Brugge defend their crown, however.
The Mail reports that Leeds have opened talks over a deal that would set them back around £25 million, with Marcelo Bielsa understood to have a ‘soft spot’ for an attacking midfielder boasting Raphinha-levels of showmanship.
Will Marcelo Bielsa work his magic on Noa Lang?
When asked about the future of his star man, Club Brugge’s CEO said that anything is possible.
“No, (selling Lang) is not out of the question,” Mannaert said.

Scottish giants Celtic showed an interest in signing Lang too, before the Netherlands U21 international swapped Ajax for Brugge in a deal worth around £5 million.
One year on, Lang is blossoming into one of Europe’s finest creators as the Hoops pick up the pieces of a trophy-less season at Parkhead.
