Leeds United supporters on Instagram have accused Ben White of lacking respect after his reaction to Arsenal’s victory at Elland Road on Saturday.
Arsenal hammered a depleted Leeds outfit – who had nine senior players missing – 4-1 in West Yorkshire yesterday evening.
White conceded a penalty which Whites attacker Raphinha thumped home to reduce the deficit to two goals, before Emile Smith Rowe added a fourth later in the contest.
The English central defender spent a season on loan with Marcelo Bielsa’s side during the 2019-20 campaign, helping them to Premier League promotion after a 16-year absence from the big time.
For that reason, the 24-year-old is a popular figure among the Elland Road faithful.
Disrespect?
Well, a lot of them.
However, some Leeds supporters aren’t happy with the £50 million defender’s Instagram caption after the outing.
White posted a photograph of himself in action, with the text: “3 points wallop.”
