The Tottenham Hotspur pair have been linked with a big money move away from the club in the summer.
Spurs full-backs Kyle Walker and Danny Rose are reportedly being targeted by Manchester United and Manchester City, with Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola prepared to spend £60 million on the pair, according to the Sun.
The England internationals have become so important to Tottenham, however, that the figure reported does not even come close to what they are worth to their club.
Tottenham’s Kyle Walker
Both are 26-years-old, and entering the prime years of their careers, and both are so integral to the system in which Mauricio Pochettino implements at White Hart Lane.
Their marauding displays down the flanks provide Spurs with their width, in an attacking sense, but they are also disciplined defensively when they have to be.
They essentially perform two different jobs rolled into one, and losing them would be of equal importance to allowing someone like Harry Kane or Dele Alli to leave the club.
Tottenham’s Danny Rose in action
The Spurs hierarchy must make it clear that they will not consider doing business, even if an offer £100 million was made for the pair.
Sometimes there are players in the game who might not necessarily be the most talented in their squad, but they hold importance far greater than any kind of financial value.
Walker and Rose are priceless to Tottenham, and if they are going to achieve success under Pochettino, they must ensure that they do not allow them to leave, under any circumstance.
