Gabriel Agbonlahor has given his verdict on Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford after watching him in action against Fulham at Old Trafford.
The former Aston Villa striker and talkSPORT pundit was not impressed at all with Rashford.
So, what has Gabriel Agbonlahor said about Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford? Let’s take a look.
Gabriel Agbonlahor criticises Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford
Well, Gabriel Agbonlahor has been speaking about Marcus Rashford, and the former Aston Villa striker is not happy with the Manchester United forward.
The talkSPORT pundit does not think that Rashford is interested in doing his best for Erik ten Hag’s side.
Agbonlahor made the comments about Rashford while reflecting on United’s defeat to Fulham at Old Trafford in the Premier League this past weekend.
Ten Hag deployed Rashford as the striker in a 4-2-3-1 formation. United lost the match 2-1.

Agbonlahor said about Rashford on talkSPORT (5:51 pm, February 26, 2024): “You see, what I don’t understand, mate, is that Marcus Rashford, local lad, loves the club, you look at like legends of the game, who played for Manchester United.
“Wayne Rooney, what he had done for Manchester United, season after season, still putting it in, still putting in the effort, still getting at people and smashing people, getting the ball back and showing hunger.
“Marcus Rashford has achieved a lot, but it looks like he is a bit like not interested now, you know, like I have done it, I have done it all. Do you know what I mean?”
My View: Marcus Rashford needs to be more consistent
In my opinion, Marcus Rashford needs to be more consistent and step up his game for Manchester United.
The forward is a very good player who has pace and the ability to cut inside from out wide and wreak havoc on the opposition.
However, Rashford is very inconsistent. And, he is not really a match-winner. How many times have you seen him win a game of football by himself?
Perhaps the £300,000-a-week (Spotrac) England international forward needs to add more facets to his game. There is a degree of predictability about the 26-year-old.
Rashford has made 21 starts and four substitute appearances in the Premier League for United this season. He has scored five goals and given two assists in those games.
Last season, the United forward scored 17 goals and provided five assists in 32 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League.
