Jude Bellingham is not interested in a move to Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United and is eyeing a transfer to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool instead, according to Bild journalist Christian Falk in CaughtOffSide.
The journalist has reported that Newcastle wanted to sign Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund in the January transfer window.
However, the England international midfielder is not seriously considering a move to the Magpies.
Instead, Bellingham is open to a switch to Liverpool at the end of the season.
There has been rumours in Germany this week that Newcastle could try to sign Bellingham from Dortmund in the summer of 2023.
According to The Daily Mail former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners Liverpool ae keen on the former Birmingham City youngster.

Falk said: “Newcastle were interested, that’s for sure, but they’re not in the range of clubs Bellingham’s seriously considering joining in the summer, despite their good form this term.
“If he’s going to leave Dortmund, it will be for a top club, so he’s still keeping an eye on circumstances at Liverpool.”
Understandable
We can understand why Jude Bellingham would want to move to Liverpool and not Newcastle United.
Yes, Newcastle are a big club, but they are just starting their grand project.
Liverpool are one of the biggest clubs in the world who regularly challenge for the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.
The Merseyside club are a global brand.
Bellingham is one of the best young midfielders in the world who would become a better player working under Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
We do not think that Newcastle have a good chance to convincing the youngster to snub Liverpool for St. James’ Park in the summer of 2023.
