Some Leeds United fans on social media have been drooling over Diego Llorente after his performance in the 4-0 win over Burnley on Saturday afternoon.
The Spaniard was a rock at the back as Leeds picked up yet another win against the Lancashire outfit, and he earned a lot of well-deserved plaudits from the United fanbase.
Llorente had something of a stop-start beginning to his Leeds United career due to a number of injuries, but he’s had a run of performances in recent weeks that have shown just how talented he is.
Llorente is a bona fide Spain international, and at times against Burnley he showed exactly why he’s one of Luis Enrique’s main men.
He just looked so composed on the ball, he read everything that Burnley were trying to do and he made everything look so effortless as United won 4-0.
Fans were losing their minds over the defender, with one supporter claiming that he was oozing class, while another claimed that he’s the best player they’ve had since Rio Ferdinand.
