Celtic’s draw last night could be considered a good result or a bad one, depending on how you look at it.
Yes, Neil Lennon’s side had a two-goal lead at the break and wound up only bringing a point back to Glasgow.
But on the other hand, Celtic fans, who had seen their troops fail to win in any of their last three games, would’ve happily taken a point if it was offered before kickoff.
It was a very mixed night for the visitors, but one piece of definite bad news comes in the form of Kristoffer Ajer.
The 22-year-old left the field injured on 53 minutes, replaced by Nir Bitton.
And Lennon has confirmed via Celtic’s Twitter account that it’s a hamstring and that it ‘doesn’t look great’ at the moment.
This is potentially devastating for the Bhoys.
With Shane Duffy struggling in a big way again last night, and Christoper Jullien being injured for over a month with a back injury, Celtic absolutely can’t afford to lose Ajer for any period of time.
Duffy, on loan from Brighton, isn’t confident enough in his game right now to be the rock that Lennon needs him to be and you really do fear for them defensively if there’s very bad news on the way.
