Nine-goal Championship striker Karlan Grant could reportedly be going to the Premier League with Wolverhampton Wanderers come January.

Forget Portuguese wonderkids or exciting young talents from Milan and Madrid, it seems that Wolverhampton Wanderers will be looking a little closer to home in the January transfer window.
If reports are to be believed, Wolves are going British this winter with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side keeping tabs on some of the most promising young talents outside of the Premier League.
Preston North End centre-back Ben Davies could be on his way to Molineux, according to the Express, with Karlan Grant of Huddersfield Town also on their radar.

The Sun (3 November, page 61) reports that Wolves have been sending scouts to Yorkshire to watch the penalty-box poacher in action and they would have been impressed by the way he scored the only goal of the game in Saturday’s 1-0 win at Brentford, his ninth of the Championship campaign so far.
The report adds that Wolves will have to pay at least £10 million for a striker who was playing in the third-tier for Charlton Athletic this time last year.
But Wolves fans are used to more exotic tastes these days. It seems that players from Huddersfield are no longer enough to get the taste-buds tingling.
