Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford has told the official Leeds United podcast that he was struggling after training this week.
Bamford was expecting to be eased back into training, after returning from injury.
However, no such luxuries were offered to the Leeds striker, with Marcelo Bielsa immediately throwing him into one of his infamous ‘murder-ball sessions’.
Bamford actually admitted that he was struggling to walk after Leeds’ last game.
But it seems that he got through training fine this week, even though he admits he was very tired.
“I had a little bit of time off, I had Sunday off, that was it,” the striker said.
“Yesterday I was with the physio to make sure I could train today thinking it would just be drills.

“Bam, straight in with murderball today! I’m not going to lie, I was struggling a bit after, I was tired.”
Bamford’s availability for the weekend has to be considered great news for Leeds.
The striker has 14 goals to his name already this season, which is a tally which goes far beyond what many expected.
Bamford may well be eyeing up another goal at the weekend too, as the Leeds front-man will be taking on bottom side Sheffield United.
