Roy Keane told ITV Sport (05/09/21 at 7:10 pm) that Bukayo Saka isn’t getting many wins at Arsenal, so he should ‘enjoy’ that winning feeling for England.

The outspoken TV pundit claimed that Saka ‘reacted well’ after his ‘disappointment’ at Euro 2020 by helping the Three Lions beat Andorra 4-0 in their World Cup qualifier at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.

From the same end Saka missed that gut-wrenching penalty, he scored from in his first game back in England colours today.

The Arsenal forward scored and assisted for his country in what was a comfortable evening for Gareth Southgate’s men.

But Keane, whilst delivering his verdict on Saka, couldn’t help but aim a brutal dig at Arsenal’s start to the new Premier League season.

“Football is all about dealing with disappointments,” said Keane. “He had a tough summer and reacted well. He seems a good kid.

“Obviously a nice day for him today. He scored with a header. I am sure he is going to enjoy the win because he’s not getting many at club level, so he can make the most of it.”

Arsenal have lost their opening three matches of the new Premier League season and they sit bottom of the table.

It’s nine goals conceded and zero goals scored for the North London club, after they missed out on Europe last term.

When Saka returns from national duty, he will face off against Norwich, who only sit one place above them in the table because they have scored one goal.

It’s a pretty embarrassing situation for them to be in and it’s a crying shame that they are looking towards someone like Saka to get them out of their current mess.
