George Thomas has completed his move from Coventry to Leicester and the supporters have had their say.
Leicester City have confirmed the signing of George Thomas from Coventry City for a fee the Sun is reporting to be around £450,000, plus add-ons.
Thomas’ contract with the Sky Blues had expired, but because the 20-year-old is under the age of 24, Coventry were entitled to compensation from the Foxes.
Coventry’s George Thomas celebrates after scoring the team’s second goal of the game during the EFL Checkatrade Trophy Final.
Mark Robins has expressed his disappointment that the forward – who scored the winning goal in the EFL Trophy final last season – has decided to leave the Ricoh Arena.
As for the fans of the League Two club, in general they seem to think that Thomas – a product of the youth academy who scored nine goals in 53 games – will not be missed.
Some wish him well, although remain sceptical.
While Leicester supporters are largely unconvinced.
