Jurgen Klopp has confirmed to the Liverpool Echo that Liverpool duo James Milner and Joel Matip will miss tonight’s game against Crystal Palace.

Liverpool are due to take on Palace at Selhurt Park this evening, as they look to take another step closer to mathematically sealing the Premier League title.

The Reds will have to pick up the three points without Matip or Milner though, as the duo are both nursing injuries.

“The two guys, Millie and Joel, will not be available for tomorrow,” Klopp said.

The better news for Liverpool is that both Andy Robertson and Mo Salah are fully fit again.

Salah did not feature at all for Liverpool in their first game back against Everton.

However, the Egyptian trained well yesterday, and could well start for Liverpool this evening.

“He [Salah] trained yesterday completely normal, will train today completely normal, then he is available,” Klopp added.

“What I will make of the line-up then, you will have to wait!

“It’s the same with Robbo, he trained yesterday as well completely normal so that is the same.”

Robertson is likely to come straight into Liverpool’s line-up this evening and take Milner’s place in the team.

Salah, meanwhile, will surely be picked ahead of Takumi Minamino, who had a quiet game in Liverpool’s 0-0 draw with Everton.
