Speaking on the Footballer’s Football Podcast, Michail Antonio has been sharing his love for Arsenal’s kits.

The Gunners have collaborated with Adidas in recent years to make some of the most interesting kit designs we’ve seen.

From the iconic and slick home kit to the unique white away strip from two seasons ago that was supposed to resemble veins, the Gunners are always working on something interesting when it comes to their kits.

Antonio says that while he doesn’t support Arsenal, he always absolutely loves their kit designs, stating that they’re ‘unbelievable’ every year.

Antonio loves Arsenal’s kits

The West Ham star spoke highly of Adidas’ work with Arsenal.

“Thinking about Adidas, Adidas is the best. The Arsenal kit this year. In fact, every Arsenal kit, they always bring out unbelievable Arsenal kits. Adidas bring out Arsenal kits that are always fire. I’m not an Arsenal fan but their kit is always a joke every single year,” Antonio said.

Creative

Whether or not you think Arsenal’s kits look good or not, it has to be said that they are always creative.

The 2020/21 away kit was hated by a few fans, but we’ve not seen anything like that before, while this season’s changed strip also has a very interesting design.

Their training wear is also creative too with this season’s warm-up gear designed to resemble a London underground seat, paying homage to the trip thousands of fans make every week.

Of course, Arsenal have also changed their kits to back good causes as well. Last season they played in an immediately iconic all-white strip as a part of the ‘No More Red’ campaign against knife crime, which is more great work from Adidas and Arsenal that deserves praise.

The Gunners are knocking it out of the park with their kits at the moment, and while Antonio plays for their rivals, even he has to admit that Adidas are creating some brilliant kits for the north London club.
