According to La Razon, Aston Villa are interested in a move for Villarreal youngster Yeremy Pino.
The Spanish teenager is one of the most promising young players in all of Europe. He’s already a Spain international at the age of 19, and he’s been touted for a massive future.
Unai Emery actually coached Pino at Villarreal during his time with the club, and while the Spaniard did help the teenager break through as a star, he wasn’t always the most complimentary of the young talent.
Indeed, Emery has always held Pino to a high standard, even going as far as to state that the player has a lot to learn after a four-goal haul against Espanyol.

Pino has a lot to learn
Emery was somewhat critical of the winger after he scored four goals in one game.
“Yeremy is a 19-year-old boy who has a lot of maturity for certain things. He is competitive, brave and always wants more. He’s not always brilliant, he’s very young and has a lot to learn,” Emery said.
Will get the best out of him
There are two ways to view this kind of comment.
On one hand, it could be said that Emery is being too harsh on a young player after he’s put in a wonderful performance, but on the other hand, it could be said that he’s simply holding him to a high standard.
At Pino’s age, you need a manager who is going to push you to your absolute limits and not allow you to rest on your laurels, and it seems as though Emery is exactly that kind of manager.
Yes, Pino deserved praise for his showing against Espanyol, but he probably also needed grounding after such a performance.
Pino’s best course of action if he wants to become a superstar may be to reunite with Emery at Aston Villa.
