The Canaries ace has hit the ground running for the Carrow Road side in the Premier League this term.

A number of Norwich City fans have taken to Twitter to comment on star striker Teemu Pukki being nominated for August’s Premier League Player of the Month award (official Canaries website).
The 29-year-old, who has already picked up the PFA Player of the Month award for August, is up against Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling and Kevin de Bruyne, Roberto Firmino of Liverpool and Burnley’s Ashley Barnes for the monthly accolade.
Pukki picked up right where he left off last season, having been prolific for the Canaries en route to the Championship title, by scoring five goals in the first four Premier League games of the season, including one against European champions Liverpool and a hat-trick against Newcastle United.
Here is what some fans – both Carrow Road faithful and neutrals alike – said on social media regarding the latest recognition and potential accolade for their goal machine:
Pukki now has 42 goals in 61 games for club and country since he joined Carrow Road on a free transfer from Danish club Brondby in the summer of 2018, of which 23 came in 30 games this calendar year, the last of which was the winner – from the penalty spot – in the Euro 2020 qualifier between Finland and Greece.
