Both West Bromwich Albion and Norwich City have been linked with the attacking midfielder.
Filip Krovinovic will spend the coming campaign on loan to West Bromwich Albion, according to Record.
Krovinovic had also been linked with a move to Norwich City, although the Express and Star reported over the weekend that West Brom were planning an official offer for the attacking midfielder.
And Record claims Krovinovic will soon travel to England to make his Albion move official, after Benfica bosses settled on a deal which will see the Portuguese side receive a guaranteed fee of £300,000.
The newspaper adds that fee will double if West Brom are promoted back to the Premier League this season, with a further £100,000 due if the former Croatia Under-21 international fails to appear in half of the Baggies’ fixtures.
It is unclear what percentage of Krovinovic’s salary will be paid by West Brom, who according to Record have fought off competition from several other clubs to sign him – although there is no mention of Norwich within its latest report.
The new West Brom manager, Slaven Bilic, is a fellow Croatian, which may have increased Albion’s appeal to Krovinovic.
The former NK Zagreb and Rio Ave player still has three years left on his contract at Benfica.
