The Swans ace, 21, reportedly remains on Leeds United’s radar.

Norwich City manager Daniel Farke has commented on Swansea City winger Daniel James following the Canaries’ Championship 1-0 win over the Swans on Friday night.
The 21-year-old put in another impressive display for the Welsh side, being rated 8 out of 10 by Wales Online, though his efforts were ultimately in vain due to Emiliano Buendia’s winner for the hosts before the hour.
James was on the radar of Norwich’s Championship title rivals Leeds United in the January transfer window and was reportedly on the brink of joining Leeds on deadline day, only for Swansea to pull out of the deal at the last minute.
Following the closure of the window, Leeds reportedly retained an interest in snapping up James (The Mirror), but weeks later Swansea manager Potter disclosed that talks over a new contract with the player are progressing, though as of yet he remains contracted to the Liberty Stadium until 2020 (Transfermarkt).

Speaking after the game at Carrow Road, Farke raved about James, claiming that the Wales international has an exciting career ahead of him.
“Without any doubt, Daniel James is a player full of potential,” said the Norwich manager. “I like him a lot, his skills are fantastic and I’m pretty sure he will have a great career.”
James led the line for Swansea at Carrow Road in the absence of top scorer Oliver McBurnie, who missed the game through illness.
