The Canaries midfielder helped Daniel Farke’s side bring Premier League football back to Carrow Road.

A number of Norwich City fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the club’s announcement that Canaries midfielder Tom Trybull has signed a new three-year deal at Carrow Road.
The 26-year-old has made 60 appearances for the East Anglian side since arriving on a free transfer from Dutch side Den Haag during August 2017, and has now committed until the summer of 2022.
Last season, the former Germany youth international made 31 appearances in the Championship – 22 of which were starts – as he helped Daniel Farke’s side secure promotion to the Premier League as champions.
The news of Trybull committing his future to the top-flight new-boys was largely well received amongst the Norwich fanbase on the social media platform, with some appearing a little surprised:
Numerous key members of Norwich’s Championship-winning team, including Christoph Zimmermann, Emiliano Buendia, Teemu Pukki, Marco Stiepermann, Onel Hernandez, Ben Godfrey, Kenny McLean and Tim Krul have all penned new deals at Carrow Road.
Max Aarons is reported to have agreed a new deal (The Telegraph) but it is yet to be officially confirmed by the club, while Mario Vrancic is yet to pen a new contract, his current deal lasting until the end of next season (Transfermarkt).
