The Canaries’ anthracite third kit has impressed many Norwich fans – but some really don’t like the sleeve badge.

A number of Norwich City fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on the Canaries unveiling their third kit for the 2019-20 season (official Norwich website).

The Premier League side shared the first official image on social media on Friday, the third kit a dark grey – or anthracite to be exact – number featuring a black geometric pattern running down the lower half of the top, as well as a smart collar.

The shirt’s collar and cuffs are black, while kit manufacturers Errea sport their logo in white on the right breast, with the Norwich badge on the left-hand side, principal sponsors Dafabet in the centre and sleeve sponsors Best Fiends on the sleeve.

Fan reaction to the unveiling was largely positive, with many supporters praising the design on social media – but with one small but fairly significant exception:

Norwich has now unveiled all three kits for the upcoming season, the home one coming out on 6 July and the away one – a bright red, orange and yellow number – revealed on 20 July.

The Canaries contest their last pre-season friendly of 2019-20 at Carrow Road against Ligue 1 side Toulouse (4pm kick off) before the Premier League season gets under way against Champions League holders Liverpool.
