The Canaries have brought right-back Byram to Carrow Road from fellow Premier League side West Ham United.

A number of Norwich City fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the Canaries signing Sam Byram permanently from West Ham United (official Norwich website).
The 25-year-old right-back joins the Premier League new-boys on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee which Transfermarkt reports to be £747,000.
Byram spent last season on loan at Championship side Nottingham Forest, but made only eight appearances for the Reds because of a knee injury (Transfermarkt).
“I had a nasty injury last year and it was nice to finish the season with a couple of games,” he told the official Norwich website. “This feels like a new chapter, a fresh start.”
Byram began his career with Leeds United and played 143 times over four seasons at the Elland Road outfit before moving to West Ham in January 2016.
The full-back played 36 times during three years with the Hammers and underwent knee surgery at the start of last season, leading to eight months on the sidelines.
Here is what some of the Canaries faithful said on the social media platform regarding Byram’s arrival at Carrow Road:
Norwich have had a fruitful summer on the player recruitment and retention front, with Josip Drmic joining permanently, along with several highly rated youngsters such as Daniel Adshead, plus Patrick Roberts and Ralf Fahrmann joining on loan.
In addition, numerous key members of Norwich’s Championship-winning team including Mario Vrancic, Tom Trybull, Christoph Zimmermann, Emiliano Buendia, Teemu Pukki, Marco Stiepermann, Onel Hernandez, Ben Godfrey, Kenny McLean and Tim Krul have all penned new deals at Carrow Road.
