Although first-choice stopper Tim Krul recently signed a new long-term deal at Carrow Road following the club’s promotion to the Premier League, Daniel Farke is reportedly looking for someone to provide competition for the Dutchman.

Fahrmann, who is under contract at the Veltins Arena until the summer of 2022, made 25 appearances last season for the Bundesliga club and has previously represented Germany from Under-16 level through to the U21s.

The 30-year-old goalkeeper has been at Schalke from when he was a youth player until now and has spent most of his career there, with the exception of a two-year spell at Eintracht Frankfurt between 2009 and 2011.
