The Canaries Twitter page shared the Carrow Road midfielder’s Instagram story in which he named his favourite moment of the season.

Norwich City’s official Twitter account has shared an emotional Instagram story by Canaries midfielder Moritz Leitner in which he disclosed his most special moment of the 2018-19 season.
The East Anglian club is back in the Premier League after triumphing in a tightly-contested three-horse race in the Championship, getting the better of Sheffield United and Leeds United en route to the title.
Leitner played a significant role in Norwich’s superb season, making 29 league appearances for Daniel Farke’s side (Transfermarkt), though his campaign was hampered by injury midway through the season which impacted on his minutes thereafter.
Nonetheless, the 26-year-old is loved by the Canaries fanbase and his contributions paved the way for their title tilt, though it was not all plain sailing for the team, particularly in the first half of the season, such as when they dropped out of the playoff places after losing to Stoke City in October (BBC Sport).
Leitner highlighted the reaction from the Carrow Road faithful at the end of that game as his personal highlight of the season, more so than the game against Millwall or his first Norwich goal:
Some fans took to Twitter to show their love for Leitner, though a couple were caught unaware and initially thought he may have been bidding farewell:
Norwich get their Premier League season under way with a trip to Anfield to face last season’s runners-up and 2019 Champions League winners Liverpool.
