Norwich City have unveiled their retained list upon the conclusion of the 2019-20 Championship season, with four first-team players released following the Canaries’ promotion to the Premier League.

Steven Naismith, Matt Jarvis, Ivo Pinto and Yanic Wildschut have been let go following the expiry of their deals at Carrow Road, while Todd Cantwell has had a one-year extension on his contract exercised.

Naismith, who moved to Norwich from Everton for £8.5m in January 2016, has spent the last 18 months on loan at Scottish top flight side Hearts, while Jarvis did not feature for the East Anglians during the first half of the season and joined Walsall on loan in January.

Pinto made just five appearances for Norwich this campaign and has already agreed a move to former club Dinamo Zagreb next season, and Wildschut spent the season on loan at Bolton Wanderers, scoring twice in 18 games.

Jarvis, who has been at Norwich since moving from West Ham United in 2016, posted an emotional Twitter message as a reply to the Canaries’ retained list tweet:
