Norwich City have finished Saturday seven points clear at the top of the Championship table with just six games to go after beginning the day with a resounding 4-0 win over Queens Park Rangers despite going down to ten men.

Emiliano Buendia opened the scoring at Carrow Road after just six minutes before Marco Stiepermann rifled home a second down the middle of Loe Lumley’s goal before a quarter of an hour had elapsed

Teemu Pukki added a third after a defensive mix-up in the 38th minute to put Daniel Farke’s charges 3-0 up against managerless QPR at half time and the Finland international grabbed his second and his side’s fourth five minutes from time.

Although Buendia was shown a straight red in the 71st minute for a tackle on Josh Scowen, the East Anglians never looked in danger of collapsing against the beleaguered R’s, while the later kickoffs saw Sheffield United win and Leeds United lose.

Max Aarons took to Twitter after the game to have his say on he felt how things went:

Some Canaries fans responded to the teenager, praising him for another superb performance:

Up next for Norwich is a Championship home game against Reading on Wednesday evening.
