Celtic ‘beat’ Norwich to landing David Turnbull, only for the move to collapse.

Celtic appeared to have beaten Norwich City to the signing of David Turnbull, with the player feeling the move was best of his career.
Now his big transfer from Motherwell has collapsed, with BBC Sport reporting this was due to complications arising from a medical.
Turnbull could now need a knee operation, it emerges.
This all placed the midfielder back in limbo, when it seemed the football world was at his feet.
The whole saga has been a frustrating one for him, and for both Celtic and Motherwell.

Motherwell are now set to miss out on a fee of £3 million.
As for Norwich, their move never even got to the medical stage, with Celtic twisting his arm.
Turnbull could still swing a move to Norwich next season, but he will have to prove his fitness this season.
Here is a look at how Norwich fans reacted on Twitter to the reports…
