Norwich City fans have taken to Twitter to react to the Daily Mail’s report this week which suggested that Daniel Farke is keen to make a £12 million bid for Leeds star Kalvin Phillips.

The Canaries are preparing for their return to the Premier League after an outstanding campaign in which they secured the Championship title and largely sealed promotion at a canter.

The Mail reports that they are looking to work with a limited budget during the summer, but it appears that they may be planning at least one expensive purchase.

The report suggests that they are hoping to make a £12 million move for Phillips after his own brilliant season at Elland Road in which he established himself as one of the most important players within Marcelo Bielsa’s squad.

The speculation has attracted a positive response from the Norwich fans on social media. Many believe that the Leeds star would be an excellent addition to Farke’s squad and has the ability to step up to the top flight.

But there are also a number of comments where the supporters have suggested that they do not fancy their chances of landing Phillips this summer, with some not expecting the Whites to have any interest at all in selling for that figure.
