Marcus Edwards has returned to Tottenham Hotspur from Norwich City.

Norwich City fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the return of Marcus Edwards to his parent club Tottenham Hotspur.

As announced on the Championship club’s official Twitter page, Edwards has gone back to Premier League side Tottenham.

The England Under-20 international midfielder joined the Canaries on loan from Spurs in the January transfer window.

Much was expected of the 19-year-old midfielder when he arrived at Carrow Road, but the youngster failed to make an impact for the Championship club.

Edwards failed to make a single start and could make just one substitute appearance in the Championship for Norwich since his January loan switch from Spurs.

Daniel Farke’s side are 13th in the Championship table at the moment with 56 points from 42 matches and have endured a disappointing season.
